We offer a range of adventures to meet different levels of experience and interest. But if you don’t see something that immediately fits or appeals, get in touch… we are happy to be flexible!
Taster Days
Great if you are new to mountain biking, want to build your skills or have just acquired an e-bike.
3-day weekend
For riders with some experience and reasonable fitness, this is a great way to explore Dorset and have a fun weekend.
4-day Dorset Tour
For experienced riders with good fitness. This is a wonderful way to see the full delights of Dorset - truly exhilarating!
Taster Days
Format of the Day
Develop your e-mountain-biking skills and confidence on this fun day of training and practice.
Session 1 - Initial practice and skills check, followed by tuition and skills development (braking/gears/terrain/ruts/battery management etc)
Session 2 - Local run pre-lunch to practice and embed learning
Lunch at Rose House
Session 3 - Longer local run, including a bit more challenge with live feedback and improvement tips
Session 4: review and agree how best to embed the learning (over a cup of tea with cake!)

Format of the Weekend
A fun and luxurious weekend based in Iwerne Minster:
Friday: gather at lunchtime for meet greet and eat; afternoon local ride (2-3 hours) to gauge skill and confidence levels; followed by drinks and evening meal at Rose House
Saturday: full day’s ride with snacks and picnic lunch provided - route takes in Hambledon Hill, Hod Hill, Blandford Forest, Bulbarrow Hill, various local villages including Milton Abbas, Okeford Fitzpaine, Child Okeford and Iwerne Courtney. Fab trails, extraordinary views, lush secluded valleys, range of terrains and lovely long descents! Drinks and evening meal in Rose House garden.
Sunday: morning ride up to Shaftesbury, including riding up the iconic Gold Hill, coffee stop, followed by off-road loop into Cranborne Chase and Win Green then back cross-country through Dorset’s highest village Ashmore to Iwerne Minster for final wash-down and light lunch. Ready to leave for home by 3pm.
All meals are prepared and enjoyed together at our home, creating a relaxed base for the three days of riding. A packed lunch is also provided for the Saturday ride.

Prices vary depending on single or two person occupancy, and luxury of bedroom/bathroom facilities. Accommodation is either in our home in Iwerne Minster or at the nearby Talbot Inn in the village.

Double with shared bathroom (Rose House) or ensuite (Pub) - £450
Kingsize - shared bathroom (RH) or ensuite (Pub), or twin with ensuite (Pub) - £500
Large Double with ensuite (RH) - £550

4-day Dorset Tour
Outline programme
An extraordinary way to see the full glory of Dorset…
Monday late afternoon - meet and stay in Iwerne Minster: briefing, drinks and evening meal at Rose House (stay Rose House and local pub the Talbot)
Tuesday (Day 1) - breakfast together, then prepare and check bikes. Ride cross-country to Bulbarrow Hill, and Ansty village. Route then passes West through the Dorsetshire Gap, and various ridgeways across to the Cerne Giant and onwards to Winyards Gap.
Wednesday (Day 2) - passing Beaminster, through Marshwood Vale we reach the sea at Lyme Regis for lunch, followed by breathtaking views (and hills!) along the Jurassic Coast to West Bay and Bridport.
Thursday (Day 3) - more Jurassic Coast following the South Dorset ridgeway passing Hardy’s Monument, with amazing views of the coastline, Abbotsbury, Maiden Castle, Weymouth etc, with the iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove being the climax of the day.
Friday (Day 4) - We traverse the glorious Purbeck Hills along to Swanage, and then climb up onto Ballard Down to take in Old Harry Rocks, Studland village and then for our finale we climb up onto Nine Barrow Down to enjoy the final magnificent descent into Corfe Castle. From there you will be transported back to your cars in Iwerne Minster.
