Meet Hugh & Prue

Hugh is a qualified MIAS Level 2 Mountain Bike Leader with more than 30 years' experience leading mountain bike rides and organising cycling adventures throughout the UK and beyond. His calm, reassuring approach and extensive local knowledge mean you can relax, ride at your own pace and enjoy every moment, knowing you're in experienced hands.

Prue discovered mountain biking seven years ago and understands exactly what it's like to develop confidence and fall in love with riding. Her background in hospitality includes running a successful gîte business in France for 16 years, where welcoming guests, creating memorable experiences and sharing local knowledge became a way of life.

Together, we've combined our love of cycling, travel and hospitality to create Dorset Bike Adventures. Whether you're joining us for a hosted escape, a multi-day journey across Dorset or a tailor-made cycling holiday, our aim is simple: to make you feel relaxed, looked after and inspired to discover the very best of Dorset.

We still spend much of our free time exploring by bike. Recent adventures have taken us across France from St Malo to the Mediterranean and across Italy from the Adriatic coast to the Ligurian Sea. Those journeys continue to inspire the holidays we create today—carefully planned, full of memorable places and designed to be enjoyed rather than rushed.
