Ride Across Dorset - Where You’ll Stay
Carefully chosen accommodation is an important part of your Ride Across Dorset experience. We've selected welcoming places that reflect the character of Dorset, offering comfort, good food and the perfect opportunity to relax after each day's ride.
Monday – Iwerne Minster
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at Rose House (see above), our home in Iwerne Minster, where you'll enjoy drinks and a home-cooked evening meal. Depending on availability and your preference, you'll stay either at Rose House or at our local pub,The Talbot, just a short stroll away in the village.
Tuesday – Winyards Gap
After crossing the Dorset Downs, you'll spend the night at Winyards Gap Inn, a modern boutique-style pub set in beautiful countryside with sweeping views and a well-earned evening to relax after a rewarding day's riding. Sunsets can be breath-taking here!
Wednesday – Eype
Tonight's stop is the welcoming Eype's Mouth Country Hotel, nestled close to the Jurassic Coast. It's the perfect base after an unforgettable day exploring Lyme Regis and Dorset's spectacular coastline. Enthusiasts can swim on the beach beneath the summerhouse made famous by the TV programme Broadchurch.
Thursday – Lulworth Cove
Your final night is spent in comfortable accommodation in a traditional hotel (The Durdle Door Hotel) in the heart of the village of Lulworth Cove, a great base to enjoy the full drama of the Jurassic coast. Sauna and swim in the cove are an optional treat which we can organise for you.
Friday – Return to Rose House
Our journey comes full circle as we return you and your bike to Iwerne Minster after meeting up with Prue in Corfe Castle.
Back at Rose House, we'll wash down the bikes before enjoying tea and homemade cake together—a relaxed opportunity to reflect on the adventure, share favourite moments and celebrate four memorable days discovering Dorset by bike.
