Choose the style of adventure that suits your group. Join Hugh for a fully guided experience, benefiting from his local knowledge, support and the flexibility to adapt the route as you ride. Or, if you prefer to explore independently, we'll provide professionally planned routes delivered digitally through Komoot (or your preferred navigation platform), together with route notes, recommendations and local tips, so you can ride with confidence at your own pace.
🧳 Luggage Transfers
Travel light (unless you would like to carry your luggage!) and enjoy the ride while we take care of the practicalities. From luggage transfers and accommodation bookings to transport back to your starting point, we'll organise as much—or as little—as you need.

Whether you stay with us here at Rose House, a traditional Dorset inn or a boutique country hotel, we'll recommend accommodation to suit your style and budget. Catering can be arranged to complement your adventure, from hearty breakfasts and packed lunches to relaxed evening meals.

Example Group Adventures
Here are three possible adventures which can be tailored to your group. There are many other possible combinations that we can propose when we know more about your needs and preferences
3-day weekend based in Iwerne Minster
A special weekend exploring North East Dorset and staying in the village of Iwerne Minster.
Friday: travel to venue, and enjoy an afternoon ride on the local hills
Saturday: full day’s ride to the South and West of IM, with packed lunch provided, hills and descents galore, bridleways and single track, stunning views. Home to drinks and home-cooked dinner at Rose House
Sunday: morning ride up to Shaftesbury (Gold Hill fame)for coffee stop, then on to Cranborne Chase, Tollard Royal and Ashmore (Dorset’s highest village); home for a light lunch then farewells and time to travel home.

including 2 nights accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and one packed lunch, 2 evening meals

4-day tour of Dorset - self-guided
An exciting linear route around the county of Dorset…
Four overnight stays, starting at our home in Iwerne Minster, then at 3 carefully chosen venues along the route, one near Beaminster, and two along the coast (Near Bridport and Lulworth).
The route from Iwerne Minster follows a ridge of hills down to Beaminster, and then on to the coast at Lyme Regis right at the West of Dorset.
From there it turns East and runs close to the cliffs along the Jurassic coast, past West Bay, Chesil Beach, Osmington and Lulworth and then traversing the Purbeck hills to Swanage and Old Harry’s Rocks. It then passes through Studland village before the final climb up Nine Barrow Down ending with a spectacular ride down to Corfe Castle.
From there you will be collected and brought back to your transport at Iwerne Minster.

including 4 nights accommodation, first evening meal, 4 breakfasts, 3 packed lunches and transfer back to your cars.
No Minimum; maximum depends on accommodation availability (8-10 is a good target number)
4-day tour with guide & logistics service
The same route as described in the previous 4-day tour, but in addition…
Hugh will lead and support you throughout the whole ride;
Your luggage will be collected each day and transferred to the next stop-over, so you are not constrained by how much you can carry on your bike.
Breakfast and packed lunches are included, as is the evening meal on the first night in Iwerne Minster.

including 4 nights accommodation, first evening meal, 4 breakfasts, 3 packed lunches, luggage transfers and guiding/leadership, and transfer back to cars.
